Just as expected, the Eastern Conference race is as tight as Richard Simmons' gym shorts. After getting no help from the Red Wings, the Penguins currently trail the Rangers by 3 points, but have a game in hand. After the jump is a look at the last 10 games.

These teams are intimated, and that's the position the Pens want them to be in. Health has made this team scary, and everyone around the NHL is starting to catch on.
